5 Great Garden Uses For Solar LED Lighting
The huge variety and flexibility of LED garden lights is staggering, and a constant source of inspiration to us here at the Solar Garden Light Shop. Here we’d like to share some of our favourite garden lighting ideas, all of which can be brought to life with LED lighting.
Light the way
Although this effect works best in larger gardens just about any path can be made to look magical by tracing it’s outlines with light at floor level. Take extra care to make sure your lanterns are spaced regularly and close to the edge of your path…get it right and guests will repay your care with big compliments.

Turn a tree into a work of art
Garden flora is the perfect canvas for painting with LED light, and even delicate trees and bushes won’t be bothered by lightweight, low-heat LED lights. From subtle "firefly" lanterns hung sparingly in branches to a full decking out with LED fairy lights, dressing up a tree can brighten up your garden in more ways than one.

Go oriental
Anyone who thinks Chinese Lanterns have been done to death might be missing the point. Even a basic set of lanterns offers a lifetime of creative options, and allows you to change the look of your garden daily while keeping an underlying theme that’s stood the test of time.

Accentuate garden buildings
That garden shed or outbuilding doesn’t need to fade into the shadows at night - even the most mundane garden building can be brought to life with a scattering of LED fairy lights or a rope light strung across the gable.

Little surprises go a long way
If you have a large garden or are lucky enough to have plenty of nooks & crannies or wooded areas it can be a delight to come across a small patch of warm light when exploring. Scatter stand-alone solar LEDs around any area you expect guests to walk and you’ll often find them clustered like months around a surprising patch of light.
